Innominate Remote Services Security Solutions Successfully Used Worldwide

Berlin, 25 November 2008 - Innominate Security Technologies AG will demonstrate industrial automation security solutions at the SPS/IPC/DRIVES Electric Automation Systems & Components Conference in Nuremberg / Germany, November 25-27, 2008.
The focus of the Innominate exhibition presence will be remote services security solutions based on the proven mGuard hardware technology - and Innominate Device Manager, the configuration management software capable of managing hundreds or thousands of distributed security devices from a central server. Numerous client/partner solutions will be demonstrated on the success of remote Internet and network security for industrial applications at the first "Innominate Partner World." Product benefits and advantage in the implementation of complete solutions, managed services and remote portal security will be explained in detail.
The latest versions of the mGuard firmware version 6.1.1 and Innominate Device Manager software IDM version 1.3.1, have just been released. The innovations to the mGuard firmware relate primarily to the area of Virtual Private Networking (VPN). Secure remote maintenance connections are now possible through a single, configurable TCP port (rather than two fixed UDP ports, as previously required) as well as through web proxy servers.
Innominate Device Manager now supports mGuard devices running any of the mGuard firmware releases version 4.2.x to 6.1.x. Improvements to the user interface and the import function for configuration profiles have been included, and IDM's template technique (used for efficient management of multiple devices) is now even more powerful through a multilevel inheritance technique.
